Every different browser and operating system, when supported by Blogger, requires more unique code - makes Blogger more complicated to maintain - and makes Blogger features less stable.
Right now, Blogger Engineering is refocusing their efforts on more popular browsers and operating systems - and simplifying Blogger features. This will require that some Blogger components be discontinued.
We see the recent query, in Blogger Help Forum: Get Help with an Issue, about iOS and the (mobile computer) Blogger app.Blogger seems to have disappeared from the app store on iPad...
And a response from a Blogger staff member.Usage for our iOS app is low, so we’ve decided to remove it and better streamline our tools for Blogger.
Support for Safari is similarly limited. Blogger blog owners have had problems, using Safari / iOS, constantly.Because there is no scroll bar, I am unable to edit the end of the post, either on Safari or Chrome.
Safari, on iOS and Windows, has been a support problem for years - regardless whether it is an officially supported browser.
In order to make Blogger more usable by more blog owners, Blogger Engineering may be restricting support, for less popular features - including the Blogger app on iOS. This may be part of the Blogger dashboard stabilisation effort, started several months ago.
The Apple store may have alternate options.
BlogPress is not free - but it may be your best choice.
Right now, some blog owners are using BlogPress, with their iOS devices, for publishing their blogs. This is not a free app - but it may be the best solution, for blog owners who use iOS.
Similarly, you may need to try a complementary browser, if you're using Safari unsuccessfully. Chrome or Firefox may be a good alternative.
Some blog owners are noting limited support for #Blogger, for those who use iOS / Mac / Safari browser and operating systems. Blogger Support implies this is necessary, because of low demand.
Whatever the reasoning, iOS / Mac users may need alternate solutions, for using Blogger.
Long ago, Blogger Support used to provide personalised account recovery service, to blog owners who had forgotten their account names and passwords - and give "hints" in open forum discussion, reminiscent of the popular TV game show, Wheel Of Fortune.
But reality intervened - and now, everybody who wants to recover access to a Blogger account / blog must use one of the automated account / blog access recovery tools- ignoring however defective they may appear to be.
We have seen several sad stories, played out in Blogger Help Forum: Get Help with an Issue.
Round #1
An unhappy "blog owner" would request assistance. I forgot the password. Can somebody help me recover access?
Blogger Support would email recovery instructions to "whatever @ gmail . com", and advise the "blog owner" I emailed your reset instructions to "w****** @ g**** . com".
Sometimes they would get the reply That does not help me. Can I buy a vowel?
Blogger Support, always optimistic, would give it another go.I emailed your reset instructions to "w***e*** @ g**** . com".
thenI emailed your reset instructions to "w*a*e*** @ g**** . com".
finallyI emailed your reset instructions to "w*a*e**r @ g**** . com".
Finally, the successful "blog owner" would reply Thank you so much! I am so happyyyyyyyy!!!
But the story did not always end there.
Round #2
The next month somebody would report My blog disappeared from my dashboard while I was in the hospital, in a coma. I now want to tell everybody how I am doing - but my blog is now full of spam, and nobody can read it!! Whatever can the problem be?
And the blog mentioned in Round #2 turned out to be the same as in Round #1.
Round #3
The final verdict would be that Blogger Support, while playing "Wheel of Fortune" in Round #1, had been playing with a hacker, who was then able to steal somebody else's blog.
Bonus Round
After that happened a couple times. Blogger developed the recovery tools, and wrote the final FAQ. And, stopped providing real time, personalised advice.
And that is that. You cannot prove that you are the owner of the blog, because you cannot communicate directly with Blogger Support. You have to use the tools provided - and / or search each email account, persistently.
Blogger Support will not play "Wheel of Fortune" any more. Everybody is urged to never reveal their email address, to the world.
In some cases, the blogs would be deleted, as new spam hosts - but ownership is seldom recoverable. Bankrupt
Your best solution, now, is to start a new blog - then combine the two blogs, in a blog cluster.

This is a very brief hint of Blogger browser support policy.
Use of Blogger includes various activities.- Moderate Blogger hosted comments.
- Post comments, as a blog reader.
- Edit, preview, and publish posts.
- View Stats.
- Use the Template Designer.
Each of these activities, and more, require cookies and scripts - and each are vulnerable to improperly setup filters.
As Blogger implies, both cookies and scripts are vulnerable to being disabled (turned off) - although the term "turned on" suggests that there is one single setting, possibly affecting each individual cookie or script. Considering the effects of layered security, we know this won't always be true.
Layered security can include settings in multiple components.- Native browser settings.
- Various browser add-ons, extensions, and plugins.
- Security accessories, installed on the computer, outside the browser.
- Network appliances, installed outside the computer.
Any of these accessories and components can have filters, which can block cookies and / or scripts.
Filters are serial in nature. If any one filter blocks a necessary cookie or script, that cookie or script becomes unavailable to the Blogger feature in question.- You can't moderate Blogger hosted comments.
- You can't publish a comment.
- You can't publish a post (use Preview).
- You can't view Stats (or exclude your own pageviews).
- You can't use the Template Designer (or Live Preview).
Each JavaScript filter can affect a small portion of one Blogger feature. Sometimes, the feature will load, then terminate with another infamous "bX code", or a monolithic error message. Other times, the feature may not even load, and you get a blank screen.
As noted several times, just because it worked yesterday, that does not mean that it will work today. Every filter is subject to update, by its creator. And both BlogSpot published blogs, and non BlogSpot published blogs, are subject to different, and ever changing filters.
